An interior design project can be carefully considered down to every detail and still need a piece of art to add personality. At Canica, we work with Spanish artists and studios to offer a selection of original artworks designed to integrate with the furniture and complete each space.

How to integrate artwork into an interior

The first step is to make sure the artwork complements the overall space without needing to match the rest of the decor exactly. If it is displayed on its own wall, position the centre of the piece around 145–155 cm from the floor. When placed above a console, leave around 20–30 cm between the furniture and the frame. For sculptures, the plinth is also part of the composition and helps achieve the right height. When grouping several artworks, matching frames and regular spacing work well with prints, while compositions featuring pieces of different sizes need some structure to maintain balance.
