Prints and lithographs: original pieces for your space

Prints and lithographs are original artworks produced in limited editions. Each print is signed and numbered and created using traditional printmaking techniques. Unlike a poster, each piece retains the distinctive characteristics of the artistic process. At Canica, we work with prints and lithographs by contemporary artists, carefully selecting both the artworks and their framing.

How to hang a print correctly

When the artwork is displayed on its own, position the centre of the piece around 145–155 cm from the floor. If it is placed above a console, sideboard, or bedside table, leave 20–30 cm between the furniture and the frame.

When grouping several artworks, you can use matching frames and regular spacing to create a more orderly arrangement, or combine different sizes for a more informal composition. Framing is also important: a 5–8 cm mount helps protect the artwork, while anti-reflective glass improves its visibility.

What is the recommended maintenance?
