Designer lamps: pieces that illuminate and decorate

A well-chosen lamp provides the right amount of light for each space while also serving as a decorative piece. At Canica, we work with specialised studios to offer designer lamps with carefully considered shapes, materials, and finishes, designed to illuminate and complete the decor of every room.

How to choose the right designer lamp

Start by considering how it will be used. For the dining room, a pendant light suspended around 70–80 cm above the table works well; its size should be proportionate to the tabletop. Next to the sofa, an adjustable floor lamp is practical for reading. On a bedside table, make sure the lampshade is at eye level when you are sitting up in bed. To complete the decor, you can combine lamps of different sizes and formats without needing them to be identical.
