How to choose the right dining chairs

Before choosing your dining chairs, check the height of your table. For a standard table measuring 75 cm (30 inches) high, seats between 45 and 48 cm (18–19 inches) are ideal. Allow approximately 60 cm (24 inches) of table width per person to ensure everyone is seated comfortably. If your dining room is compact, avoid overly bulky designs. In larger spaces, chairs with armrests or higher backrests create a stronger visual presence. You can also choose a matching set or combine two different chair styles, using one design for the head of the table and another for the sides—a popular interior design approach that adds character and personality to the dining room.
